Summary
The primary role of the Performance Media Specialist is to assist in paid social and search
media buys – including, but not limited to; campaign setup, ad trafficking, campaign
monitoring and optimizations, data analysis and reporting, and daily communication related to
performance media campaign planning, execution, and analytics across platforms. The
Performance Media Specialist will serve as an important part of the team by supporting key
clients, projects, and campaigns on their assigned channels and accounts.
The ideal candidate has an ability to multi-task, curiosity for new technology and media
channels, is extremely data-driven and detail orientated, and should have a strategic mindset
and eagerness to grow with us and our clients.
The Specialist works to ensure campaigns run smoothly - troubleshooting technical issues,
analyzing performance trends, proactively proposing new opportunities to enhance
performance, and always meeting deadlines on all deliverables.
**Key Responsibilities:
**• Supports all aspects of paid media campaign management and ad optimization.
• Establishes a comprehensive understanding of client’s marketing and business
objectives.
• Stays informed of the latest buying platform developments and new ad opportunities.
• Supports pre-campaign responsibilities, including:
o Assisting in the media strategy proposals
o Gathering creative assets and tracking instructions.
o Providing guidance on creative development, specs and best practices.
o Identifies targeting and platform opportunities based on specific brand
parameters and key performance indicators.
Campaign setup, management and optimizations:
o Set up campaigns accurately, ensuring ad tags, budgets, targeting, and creative
are loaded correctly into the systems.
o Hands-on-keyboard management, execution, and optimization of ad campaign
in alignment with KPIs and clients business objectives (across main objectives
such as e-commerce conversions, lead generation, and more.)
**Data analysis and reporting:
**o Analyzing overall campaign performance regularly and building custom
reporting against client’s key performance indicators, reporting formats, and
cadence.
o Acts as a second set of eyes to make sure the campaign is pacing properly.
o Organize data into actionable insights and learnings to drive success.
**Qualifications
**· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
· 3-6 years of related experience in paid social and/or paid search ad campaign
execution.
· Understanding of key digital metrics, data capabilities, and measurement & tracking
functionality across platforms.
· Proficiency in the following social platforms required: Meta Ads Manager, Google
Ads, Google Analytics.
o Experience in the following tools a strong plus: TikTok Ads, Snap Ads, LinkedIn
Ads, Twitter Ads platform.
· Expertise in Microsoft Excel required
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and tight
deadlines
· Previous agency experience, working across multiple clients is preferred.
