Part-Time Contract Performance Marketer — Paid Search & Paid Social
iRelo | Remote (PT) | Contract

iRelo builds and operates lead generation properties in the auto transport and relocation industry. We run paid search and paid social campaigns that drive traffic to our own landing pages and feed leads into a distribution backend. Performance is everything — we measure success by CPL, lead quality, and ROI against lead revenue.

We're looking for a senior performance marketer (part-time contract, ~20 hrs/week) who can own and optimize our paid channels end-to-end. You'll be working directly with our team and alongside a front-end engineer who builds and iterates on the landing pages you'll be driving traffic to.

What you'll own:

  • Google Ads — Search campaigns targeting high-intent auto transport and relocation queries
  • Meta Ads — Lead gen campaigns across Facebook and Instagram
  • Campaign architecture, audience strategy, bidding, and budget pacing
  • A/B testing — design tests (headlines, form layouts, CTAs, page structure), brief the engineer, own the analysis, call the winner
  • Landing page feedback loop — flag CRO issues, brief in copy and layout changes, maintain a prioritized test backlog
  • Tracking and attribution — making sure every lead source is properly tagged and measured
  • Weekly performance reporting — CPL, conversion rate, lead volume, revenue vs spend

You're a fit if:

  • You've run lead gen campaigns at scale — not brand awareness, actual CPL-driven performance work
  • You know Google Ads cold: search campaign structure, match types, negative keyword management, Smart Bidding tradeoffs, RSA copywriting
  • You've run Meta lead gen campaigns and know the difference between lead form ads and landing page conversion campaigns
  • You're comfortable reading GA4 or PostHog data and connecting it to campaign decisions
  • You think in funnels — you understand that a great CPL means nothing if lead quality is poor
  • You work async and proactively flag issues rather than waiting to be asked

You're not a fit if:

  • Your experience is primarily brand, awareness, or ecommerce — lead gen is a different discipline
  • You need an agency or large team around you to execute
  • You can't explain your CPL targets and how you hit or missed them in past roles

Skills:

  • Google Ads (Search campaigns, Performance Max, keyword strategy, negative lists, extensions)
  • Meta Ads Manager (conversion campaigns, lead gen forms, audience building, creative testing)
  • GA4 or similar analytics (UTM structure, conversion tracking, funnel analysis)
  • Google Tag Manager basics
  • Reporting — can build a clean weekly summary from raw data
  • Bonus: experience with vertical-specific lead gen (home services, auto, insurance, moving)
  • Bonus: familiarity with lead distribution/ping-post systems (Boberdoo or similar)

Location & Timezone:

  • Fully remote
  • Pacific Time (PT) required — must have meaningful overlap during PT business hours
  • US-based preferred; open to PT-compatible timezones (PDT/PST, MDT/MST)

Engagement:

  • ~20 hrs/week, (3 to 6 months Trial) --> Ongoing contract
  • Fully remote, async-friendly
  • Consistent retainer with room to grow as we scale channels
