Role Overview

Join Vaultera as a Payment Systems Developer, specializing in Rust for backend development and JavaScript for frontend and integration tasks. You will play a key role in building secure, PCI-compliant payment systems, developing high-performance APIs, and ensuring efficient payment data handling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure, PCI-compliant payment systems with Rust
• Build and optimize APIs for safe and efficient payment processing
• Implement credit card validation and transaction handling mechanisms
• Develop responsive admin interfaces using React and TypeScript
• Ensure high-quality, well-tested code using Mocha, Jest, and Rust testing frameworks
• Work with AWS, Postgres, and Redis to support system scalability and reliability

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Rust for backend development and API security
• Experience with React & TypeScript for frontend development
• Strong knowledge of payment processing, credit card handling, and gateways
• Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda) for cloud infrastructure
• Experience with Postgres & Redis for data management and caching
• Competence in testing frameworks like Mocha, Jest, and Rust testing tools

Nice to Have

• Experience with Node.js & Express for API development
• Familiarity with Vite for optimized frontend builds
• Understanding of Docker for containerization
• Knowledge of PCI DSS compliance and security best practices
