Role Overview

Join Vaultera as a Payment Systems Developer, where you will contribute to developing and maintaining secure, PCI-compliant payment systems. Your role will involve building APIs for safe payment data handling, implementing credit card validation and processing, and creating responsive admin interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PCI-compliant payment systems ensuring robust security measures.
• Build and secure APIs for efficient and safe payment data handling.
• Implement effective credit card validation and processing mechanisms.
• Create responsive and user-friendly admin interfaces using React.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, well-tested code using Mocha and Jest.
• Work with AWS, Postgres, and Redis to ensure system scalability and reliability.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Node.js & Express for backend API development.
• Experience with Rust on a personal or professional level (or willing to learn)
• Expertise in React & TypeScript for frontend architecture.
• Solid experience in payment processing, including card handling and gateways.
• Strong knowledge of AWS Services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda.
• Experience with Postgres & Redis for data storage and caching solutions.
• Competence in testing frameworks like Mocha and Jest for comprehensive test coverage.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Vite to enhance build performance.
• Knowledge of Docker for effective containerization.
• Understanding of PCI DSS compliance.
