No-Code Developer (Retool Preferred) - Part-time - Worldwide

I'm looking for a Retool expert to build a sandbox demo of an application requiring input of individual talent datapoints, generation of plotted data points, and calculation of attributes of the resulting shape. A similar module will be built for input of organization culture datapoints. Other elements will be built around this core. A signed NDA is needed to begin.

EffectiveTalent is developing a demo application to showcase our innovative approach to talent and culture mapping for large consulting clients. This is a high-impact, short-term project aimed at building a functional, visually intuitive prototype using a no-code or low-code platform (preferably Retool).

The Project

We are looking for a developer to build a 4-week sandbox demo application using Retool (or a similar no-code/low-code platform).

The app will visualize talent and culture data through interactive components such as scatterplots and vector-based displays, helping users simulate strategic decision-making. You'll work from provided story maps and datasets, with flexibility in execution and timeline, and the potential for future work based on this demo.

Tech Requirements:

• Build using Retool or similar no-code/low-code platform
• Easy-to-modify layout for future client edits
• Functional sandbox version for demo purposes
• Secure and structured data display

What We’re Looking For

We need a freelance developer who is:

• Experienced with Retool or comparable low-code platforms
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
• Able to interpret and build based on story maps
• Strong in English communication (written & verbal)
• Proactive and detail-oriented with a startup mindset
• Familiar with basic data visualization concepts (scatterplots, vectors)

Engagement Details

• Project Duration: Approx. 40 hours (flexible weekly allocation)
