Join Sleepgym as a Mobile App Developer to spearhead the creation of our MVP app, which integrates with Apple HealthKit. Your role is crucial in transforming our innovative sleep training concept into a reality by developing an app that not only tracks but trains users for better sleep. This is a remote position with a preference for candidates who can overlap with NY time zone.
Responsibilities
- Develop the MVP mobile application for iOS, with potential expansion to Android, implementing Apple HealthKit integration to sync sleep data.
- Design and implement a rules-based system that generates actionable AM/PM routines for users.
- Collaborate closely with the founders to refine app requirements and deliver iterative improvements.
- Ensure the code is clean, maintainable, and that Sleepgym retains full intellectual property rights.
- Prepare the app for its launch and plan for future feature expansions.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated experience with Apple HealthKit integration in production-level applications.
- Strong proficiency in iOS development, particularly using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Proven track record of building applications from scratch, including architecture design and deployment.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage contract hours.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with rules-based systems or simple logic engines.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Android development using Kotlin or React Native.
