Mobile App Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Mobile App Developer, with expertise in React Native, to join our team early and own our mobile app development. We are a stealth-mode startup building a digital security product to protect people from scams and fraud.

Responsibilities

• Develop mobile applications for iOS using React Native (and Swift if necessary).
• Collaborate with the design, product, and backend teams.
• Ensure the performance and quality of applications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to functionality and performance.

Required Skills

• Strong React Native + TypeScript experience
• Familiarity with bundling and dependency management (e.g. Metro, CocoaPods)
• Comfort with iOS build and runtime workflows (Xcode, iOS Simulator)
• Experience maintaining code quality with tools like ESLint, Prettier, and strict TypeScript configs
• Testing experience: unit/integration (Jest, React Native Testing Library) and end-to-end (Detox)

Nice to Have

• Debugging and profiling with tools such as React DevTools, Flipper, or Xcode Instruments
• Experience shipping updates and handling deployment workflows (TestFlight, OTA updates like CodePush)
• Knowledge of app deployment processes for the iOS App Store and Google Play Store
• Swift knowledge is a plus
