About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our digital platforms, ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for our customers. Your expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and React will enable you to build and optimize both front-end and back-end solutions. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented, proactive developer with a strong understanding of modern web technologies and a passion for crafting exceptional e-commerce experiences.

Responsibilities

• Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and maintainable applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
• API Design and Integration: Develop robust APIs and services to support seamless integration across our e-commerce ecosystem.
• Component Development: Build reusable, high-performing front-end components, ensuring consistency across the platform.
• UI/UX Implementation: Translate Figma designs into responsive and accessible interfaces that deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Code Review: Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring best practices and high-quality standards are upheld.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including design, product, and marketing, to create impactful customer-facing features.
• Troubleshooting and Optimization: Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues to enhance overall platform efficiency.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and React, with demonstrated expertise in building scalable, maintainable applications.
• Strong understanding of modern web development practices, including responsive design and accessibility standards.
• Experience with UI/UX development, translating designs from tools like Figma into functional, high-quality interfaces.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Familiarity with Content Management Systems (e.g., Contentful or Sanity) is a plus.
• 4+ years of professional experience in full-stack development, with a preference for e-commerce or direct-to-consumer industries.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with e-commerce platforms or direct-to-consumer brands.
• Knowledge of modern DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Vercel).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
