Job Description
We are looking for a seasoned, remote front-end software engineer who shares our passion for
reducing complexity and creating incredible user experiences.
You possess a keen eye for detail and have experience in all stages of software development.

collaborating on the various layers of an application’s architecture. You also have great
organizational skills that will enable you to oversee a project from conception to delivery.

Responsibilities
● Collaborate with the product team and designers to translate client requirements into an
exceptional design with a sound information architecture that creates an optimized user
experience
● Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code that is testable, flexible,
maintainable and reusable
● Optimize site & navigation content for desktop browsers and mobile devices
● Integrate and manage internal and external cloud services and APIs to support
application features
● Understand and implement security best practices to safeguard data at every layer of the
architecture from code to cloud
● Identify performance bottlenecks and come up with novel ways to solve them

● Communicate and present work in a clear and simple manner
● Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code

Skills

● 3+ years experience developing web apps using HTML, CSS, Javascript and component
based libraries/frameworks (preferably both Angular & React)
● Thorough understanding of Javascript, Typescript and asynchronous request handling
● Expert in CSS3 and Sass (ability to write mixins, partials, functions, etc) to render
pixel-perfect implementations of UI designs
● Proficient in a broad range of software design approaches and common UI/UX patterns
● Proficient in view layout and rendering technologies (e.g., responsiveness, progressive
enhancement, browser/device support)
● Experience working with analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel to capture
and analyze user metrics to improve application performance
● Experience optimizing network bandwidth using techniques such as lazy loading assets,
caching, compression, leveraging CDNs, etc.
● Experience profiling applications to detect inefficiencies in memory, CPU and network
utilization
● Experience with agile development methodologies
● Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals including data structures and
algorithms
● Background in graphic design a plus
● Appreciation for clean, tested and well documented code
● Excellent teamwork and communication skills
