Machine Learning Engineer - Part-time - Worldwide

Role Overview:

Client is an AI startup looking for a senior-level machine learning engineer to create a knowledge graph from internal documents (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint). This freelance role requires 25 hours per week over an 8-week period, with the possibility for extension.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a knowledge graph from company documentation to extract entities, relationships, and organize the knowledge base
• Work with cutting-edge frameworks and recent advancements in AI/ML
• Collaborate closely with founders to align on project goals and deliverables

Required Skills:

• 4+ years in software engineering, data science, or machine learning
• Proficient in knowledge graph creation, entity relationship extraction, and natural language processing
• Familiarity with the latest AI/ML frameworks and tools (experience with recent tech, ideally within 2-6 months)
• Strong research and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with internal documentation platforms such as Confluence or SharePoint
• Knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and related tools
