Our company is a software editor that is currently running two softwares made for eCommerce store (one for a french delivery company and Bloggle, a Shopify page builder).
Since launching in September 2021, we've welcomed over 12,000 clients from 70 countries, including solo store owners and big-name brands.
The best part? We achieved all this without any VC backing. We are a profitable & growing bootstrapped company. We do not rely on external money to run the company.
Our team consists of 9 passionate members (in 4 different countries) and a network of talented remote freelancers.
We are currently working on the launch of a complete new product, relying on AI to optimize SEO content and generate product pages content (PIM). This project is our next big thing, and we plan to reach several millions of revenues with it in the next 3 years.
The job
We’re looking for a Lead Developer to join our team of 9 people (including 2 developers, one project manager and 1 lead designer) and take ownership of our technical foundations and guarantee the stability of our product.
What you’ll do
- Own the stability of the product
- Ensure pragmatic technical and architecture choices, aligned with short and long term company goals
- Participate in the development of the product (features, complex tasks)
- Collaborate with the Project Manager:Review specs and tasks to ensure they are technically feasible and unambiguous
Help with estimation and task assignment
Contribute to prioritization, balancing short-term delivery with long-term stability
Set and enforce safeguards: automated tests, code reviews, staging environment, monitoring.
- Diagnose issues with rigor, get to the root cause of bugs.
- Set up and improve processes: PR review flows, testing strategy, deployment rules, monitoring and logging practices
- Manage and mentor the team of 2 developers
- Build and maintain a culture of quality in the team.
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teammates (CEO, PM, designer)
- Propose refactors when necessary and justified.
