About the Project: Montagam

Montagam is a thoughtfully designed parental control mobile app developed in collaboration with three psychologists, with the goal of helping parents guide their children toward healthy digital habits. The Android version is nearly complete, and we're now hiring a skilled iOS developer to bring the app to iOS — ideally launching on the App Store by October 2025.

Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced iOS Developer with direct experience working with Apple’s Screen Time API (or similar parental control frameworks). You’ll be responsible for building the native iOS version of Montagam, ensuring feature parity with the Android version while navigating iOS-specific limitations and constraints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and launch the iOS version of Montagam using Swift
  • Implement features leveraging Apple’s Screen Time API (or associated parental control tools)
  • Collaborate with the founder and Android developer to ensure cross-platform consistency
  • Translate Figma designs and user flows into clean, maintainable iOS code
  • Proactively handle iOS-specific constraints related to app permissions and system access
  • Prepare the app for App Store submission (post-MVP)

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of iOS development experience
  • Hands-on experience with Screen Time API
  • Strong command of Swift and native iOS development best practices
  • Ability to build smooth, responsive UIs from Figma designs
  • Familiarity with Apple’s app review guidelines, particularly for apps targeting minors or managing device access

Nice to Have

  • Experience working on Android-to-iOS conversions
  • Prior experience with App Store deployments and parental control restrictions
