Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled iOS App Developer to focus on developing a specialized video camera application. The app will feature customizable controls such as record resolution, frame rate, and codec. Additionally, it should support remote operation via another iOS device on the same WiFi network using iOS's Multipeer Connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Develop an iOS application with video camera capabilities, including user-selectable controls for resolution, frame rate, and codec.
• Implement remote control functionality using Multipeer Connectivity, enabling control from another iOS device on the same WiFi network.
• Ensure seamless and automatic syncing of recorded files to the cloud and the designated controller device on the local network, starting within seconds of recording.
• Utilize an existing app as a template to maintain desired functionalities while excluding unnecessary features.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in iOS app development, particularly with video camera applications.
• Strong understanding and application of reverse engineering techniques to modify existing applications.
• Proficiency with Multipeer Connectivity for remote control capabilities.
• Experience with cloud services for file synchronization.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with optimizing video recording applications for performance and user experience.
• Experience in stripping down applications to remove undesired features while retaining core functionality.
