Role Overview

Join our team as an Infrastructure Engineer to support the creation of a secure AI platform tailored for SMEs. You will play a key role in building the infrastructure layer, ensuring robust deployment and architecture that aligns with our security and regional hosting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the infrastructure layer of our AI platform, focusing on security and efficiency.
• Implement Docker containerization with multi-stage builds to streamline deployment processes.
• Deploy applications using Kubernetes on EU-sovereign cloud hosting, ensuring compliance with regional data sovereignty requirements.
• Plan and execute migration to South African-sovereign cloud hosting as part of our expansion strategy.
• Design and implement a zero-knowledge vault architecture to enhance data security.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Experience with cloud hosting platforms, specifically EU-sovereign clouds.
• Strong understanding of zero-knowledge vault architecture design.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with South African cloud hosting standards and practices.
• Previous experience in building infrastructure for AI platforms.
