Fullstack React + Node.js Developer – Team Planning Web App

Role Overview

Join our small yet dynamic e-commerce company based in Cologne, Germany, as a Fullstack React + Node.js Developer. We specialize in premium cigar accessories and are looking to develop a comprehensive web app that streamlines weekly team planning, time tracking, and smart prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a 6-page web app featuring Weekly Planner, Kickoff Meeting, Time Tracking, Feedback, Friday Review, and a CEO Dashboard.
• Integrate with HeavenHR REST API v2 for automatic time tracking entries and Asana REST API for project/task imports.
• Optionally incorporate Claude Sonnet API for AI-generated insights on the dashboard.
• Follow a milestone-based approach to build and deploy the app, ensuring functionality from weekly planning to CEO dashboard insights.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in React (hooks, context, router) and building responsive, mobile-first applications with Tailwind CSS.
• Experience with Node.js and Express for backend development and REST API integration.
• Competence in OAuth2 token management and error handling.
• Ability to work independently and communicate asynchronously.

Nice to Have

• Experience with dashboard, planning tools, or time tracking systems.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools like Claude Code or Cursor.
• German language skills for the UI.
• Experience with Docker and deployment processes.
