Fullstack Mobile developer (MVP building) - Part-time - Worldwide

We're looking for a proactive and thoughtful mobile developer (or full-stack developer with mobile experience) to help bring a consumer-facing wellness app to life — one that blends clean UI with emotionally intelligent, conversational AI. We're in early stages and want someone who can partner closely with us to refine the technical direction and bring an MVP to launch within a realistic, well-scoped timeline.

This is a collaborative role — ideal for someone who enjoys working with early-stage founders, helping to translate vision into functionality.

Phase One: MVP with onboarding, quiz flow, personalized results, and a simple chat-style UI

What We're Building:

A mobile-first, AI-supported wellness tool with a warm, emotional tone — designed to help users better understand and manage their personal care through intelligent recommendations and emotional support.

The app will include:

• A clean, welcoming onboarding flow
• Simple questionnaire(s) to personalize recommendations
• AI-driven responses that feel like a friend (chat-style)
• Supportive UX focused on clarity and empathy
• Optional profile & progress tracking

Tech:
We’re not locked into a stack but are currently leaning toward:

• Frontend: Flutter or React Native (cross-platform preferred)
• Backend: Firebase (for auth, Firestore, cloud functions, hosting)
• AI Layer: OpenAI API or other lightweight NLP integration
• Database: Firebase Firestore or other lightweight real-time DB
• Optional: Integration with third-party APIs (product data, etc.)
• We’re open to suggestions depending on your comfort zone and the best balance of performance and cost.

What You’ll Do:

• Build core mobile flows (onboarding, quiz, chat interface, result screens)
• Integrate Firebase auth & database
• Build out backend logic (e.g., quiz scoring, storing results)
• Help us shape an emotional / personal voice using a lightweight AI or scripted model
• Ensure everything is responsive, stable, and scalable for early users
• Guidance and advice for a non-tech founder

Ideal Candidate:

• Has experience building consumer-facing mobile apps (ideally with Flutter or React Native)
• Familiar with Firebase (auth, Firestore, functions)
• Comfortable with lightweight AI integrations or OpenAI API
• Collaborative and good at explaining technical options to non-technical founders
• Bonus: design sensitivity and appreciation for emotional UX
