Fullstack Mobile Developer (0 to 1 Builder) - Part-time - APAC/EMEA/LATAM

Role: Software Engineer – Mobile (0→1 Builder)

We're building something new in education. An incubated start-up with the freedom to move fast, the mandate to think big, and the discipline to craft products that feel right. We're looking for a mobile engineer who doesn't just ship apps, but sweats the details, raises the bar, and takes pride in building things people love to use.

What You'll Do

• Take ideas from sketches to fully working mobile apps (iOS/Android).
• Shape both the product and the experience: clean code, elegant design, seamless UI.
• Treat every build like a craft: polished, resilient, and built to last.
• Use AI tools as second nature: to speed, scale, and sharpen your output.
• Bring structure to chaos: organize projects, communicate clearly, and keep the team aligned.
• Work side-by-side with founders on product decisions, not just code.

Who You Are

• 4+ years building and shipping mobile apps that real people use.
• Fluent in React Native, Swift, or Kotlin (you care more about great apps than dogma).
• A maker with design sensibility. You know when a button feels off by a pixel.
• A craftsperson: you set a high bar for quality and don’t cut corners.
• Curious and fluent with AI development workflows.
• Strong communicator: direct, clear, and collaborative.
• Naturally organized and capable of steering projects without hand-holding.

Technical Skills

• Strong in at least one mobile ecosystem: React Native / Expo, Swift, or Kotlin.
• Understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and performance tuning.
• Comfort with design systems, animations, and UI polish.
• Experience with API integration, auth flows, and data management.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and app store deployment.
• Proactive in using AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.) to boost velocity.
• Fluency with backend (Node.js, Firebase, Supabase, etc.).

Stanford-educated software engineer and product leader with experience growing at tech start-up from Series B to Series D, taking products from 0→1 and scaling them to national reach, spanning AI-enabled healthcare, medical devices, mobile apps, and large-scale infrastructure.
