Fullstack Developer (Typescript, Node) - Part-time - LATAM/ EU

About the Company

SolarScout is a profitable B2B SaaS company with an 11-person team (6 US-based, 5 international). We are transitioning from a sales-led to a product-led growth model and are currently developing a new self-serve platform and data store product to enhance user experience and scalability.

Role Overview

We are looking for a mid-level full-stack engineer to help build and improve our self-serve onboarding and subscription management features. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across backend and frontend technologies, collaborating with our product and growth teams to enhance the user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance new product features using TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and SQL
• Focus on UI/UX improvements for self-serve onboarding and subscription management
• Optimize backend performance and database interactions
• Ensure scalability and maintainability of the codebase
• Work closely with the product team to align development with business goals
• Maintain partial overlap with US Pacific Time for collaboration

Requirements

• 4+ years of full-stack development experience
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and SQL
• Strong UI/UX skills and experience with self-serve platforms
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Experience in developing subscription-based platforms is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Located in Eastern Europe/Poland (preferred) or Latin America (for time zone alignment)
• Experience working in a B2B SaaS environment
• Familiarity with agile development processes
