About PMA
PMA (Property Market Analysis LLP) is a globally recognised real estate research consultancy established in 1981. We provide independent, city-level property data, econometric forecasts, market analysis, and bespoke client support across regions including the UK, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the US. Our clients include institutional investors, fund managers, pension funds, developers, REITs and agents.
At PMA, we’re growing our engineering capability to support internal and client-facing digital products (dashboards, data visualisation, internal tools). We are seeking a strong front-end engineer who can also work across the stack where needed.
What You’ll Do
=========================
- Lead development of rich, responsive web applications using Svelte 5 / SvelteKit
- Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into polished, interactive user interfaces
- Build and maintain front-end components, ensuring performance, accessibility, responsiveness
- Integrate front-end with REST APIs, ideally built in .NET / C#
- Contribute to design, development, and maintenance of back-end services or endpoints
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code; contribute to testing and code review practices
- Collaborate with product, data, and analytics teams to understand requirements and deliver features
- Help shape architecture, tooling, and best practices for our front-end and integration layer
- Participate in planning, estimation, and agile processes
Skills & Experience Required
============================
Must-Haves
- Strong, hands-on experience writing front-end applications using Svelte / SvelteKit
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience in building component-based architectures, state management, reactive programming
- Solid understanding of web fundamentals (DOM, browser events, performance, accessibility)
- Familiarity with front-end build tools (Vite) and modern module packaging
- Experience with front-end testing (unit, integration, end-to-end)
- Good communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, write documentation, and articulate technical decisions
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience developing or consuming APIs using .NET / C#, especially in a microservices or REST architecture
- Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server), ORM (e.g. Entity Framework), query optimisation
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, cloud platforms (especially Azure)
