Full Stack engineer - PT - WW (South Africa preferred)

Role Overview

Join our dynamic project, Deep Movement Collective (DMC), a thriving global community that unites like-minded entrepreneurs through city-based matches and engaging in-person activities such as surfing, hikes, and run clubs. We are seeking a skilled developer to enhance and finalize our matchmaking logic and frontend, building on a robust backend already developed with Supabase and AWS Lambda.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our team to refine and complete the matchmaking logic for connecting community members.
• Develop and enhance the frontend interface to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Work closely with existing tools and platforms, including Tally, Mailerlite, Zapier, Supabase, AWS Lambda, Stripe, and Softr, to integrate and optimize their functionalities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Supabase to ensure smooth backend operations.
• Assist in streamlining the user journey from registration to participation in community activities.

Required Skills

• Proficiency with Supabase for backend operations and data management.
• Experience with AWS Lambda for serverless computing.
• Familiarity with frontend development and UI/UX principles.
• Ability to work with tools such as Tally, Mailerlite, Zapier, Stripe, and Softr.
• Problem-solving skills, particularly in troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems.

Nice to Have

• Experience with community-building platforms and understanding of social matchmaking logic.
• Familiarity with integrating various third-party tools and APIs to enhance platform capabilities.
