Full Stack Engineer (Perl) - Full-time - NA/LATAM

Role Overview

Join our team as a Full Stack Engineer to drive forward the development of our primary SaaS web application product. This role focuses on enhancing a well-organized and modern application built with Perl, leveraging the Mojolicious web framework, and connecting to a Postgres database. Our application is a server-rendered, multi-page app, combining traditional and contemporary approaches.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to accelerate development of our SaaS web app.
• Utilize the Mojolicious framework to enhance the server-side architecture.
• Implement and manage database interactions using DBIx::Class with Postgres.
• Develop and maintain the front end using HTML styled with Bootstrap CSS.
• Enhance user interactivity with JavaScript and HTMX.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through best practices and modern techniques.

Required Skills

• Familiarity with Perl, particularly with the Mojolicious framework.
• Experience with DBIx::Class for database interaction.
• Competency in front-end technologies including HTML, Bootstrap CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with HTMX for dynamic content updates.
• Experience with git for version control

Nice to Have

• Experience with traditional server-rendered multi-page applications.
• Knowledge of modern web development practices and tools.
• Experience with PostgreSQL
