Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Full-Stack Engineer to develop an MVP for a Card-Linked Loyalty & AI Platform tailored for the hospitality industry. This innovative platform aims to provide a seamless loyalty experience for food and drink businesses, allowing customers to earn rewards effortlessly through payment card linking. Business owners will benefit from an intelligent dashboard to monitor customer activity, manage retention campaigns, and maintain their platform presence.

Responsibilities

• Card-Linking Integration: Develop card enrollment flows and establish robust webhook listeners to automate points crediting and reconciliation based on transaction events, ensuring safety against duplicate, malformed, and out-of-order events.
• Redemption Engine: Implement a QR/code generation system for the customer app, support camera-based scanning on the merchant dashboard, and ensure atomic points deduction upon redemption.
• AI Marketing Engine: Create a backend job that analyzes transaction data, engages an LLM API to draft promotional campaigns, and allows business owners to review, edit, or send them automatically.
• Cross-Platform Delivery: Deploy the merchant web dashboard and enhance the customer mobile app experience.
• App Hardening & Schema Audit: Refine the existing codebase by enhancing error/loading states, ensuring mobile responsiveness, and auditing Supabase RLS policies and database schemas.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in React and Supabase, with a proven track record of writing custom database functions and managing complex RLS policies.
• Advanced experience in Webhook & API integration, with a deep understanding of idempotency and secure payload handling.
• Background in Fintech, Payments, or Loyalty, especially in handling financial transaction data and payment/card-linking APIs.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver an MVP independently, make smart architectural decisions, and ship production-ready features efficiently.
• Based in or aligned with UK or CET time zones, with native or fluent professional English proficiency.

Nice to Have

• Experience in extending or refactoring AI-assisted or rapid-prototype codebases.
• Knowledge of native mobile wrappers (e.g., Capacitor, React Native, PWA) for enhancing the mobile user experience.
• Experience in building solutions for the hospitality or local commerce sectors.
