Inspired by tools like optionstrat.com, our web-based application helps traders model and visualize the payoff of various option strategies using intuitive, interactive charts. Our goal is to bring greater transparency and insight to retail and professional investors alike. We're currently in the early stages and are looking for a skilled developer to join our journey.

About the Role

We are seeking a part-time Full-Stack Developer with a strong focus on backend systems and deep experience in React, Next.js, and D3.js. The ideal candidate will help drive the development of our data-rich frontend while ensuring seamless integration with robust backend services. You’ll play a key role in implementing financial algorithms (e.g., Black-Scholes), integrating third-party APIs, and preparing for upcoming features such as candlestick charting and time-series data analytics.

This is a part-time position (20 hours/week), with a flexible start date—ideally, as soon as possible.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency with React and Next.js
• Advanced experience with D3.js for data visualizations
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and time-series databases
• Knowledge of backend development and API integrations
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially AWS
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, startup-like environment

Nice to Have Skills

• Understanding of financial mathematics (e.g., options pricing models like Black-Scholes)
• Previous experience in fintech or on financial dashboards
• Exposure to tools and platforms similar to optionstrat.com
• Experience working with South American or distributed remote teams
