Full Stack Developer (Python, FastAPI, React) - Full-time - LATAM/NA

Hobbes is building a next-generation AI co-pilot for software teams, blending visual intelligence and contextual awareness to help teams move faster, make smarter decisions, and operate more effectively. Our stack powers features like billing integration (Stripe), analytics dashboards, live support, and chat collaboration - all underpinned by AI-driven workflows.

We’re looking for a full-stack developer with a strong backend focus to support our team on a high-impact project with the potential to evolve into a long-term engagement.

What You'll Be Working On

• Build and enhance the backend of Hobbes’ AI co-pilot using Python + FastAPI
• Collaborate on frontend features built with React
• Integrate and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines
• Work closely with our technical co-founder to shape architecture and infrastructure
• Contribute to building AI-powered modules like:
  Intelligent analytics
  Stripe billing workflows
  Live support/chat systems
  Apply AI-assisted development tools (e.g., CloudCode, Cursor) to accelerate delivery

Ideal Candidate

• 4+ years of full-stack development experience
• Strong command of Python and FastAPI
• Solid experience with React for frontend development
• Familiarity with RAG/LLM systems or AI-integrated products
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, startup environments
• Experience using AI development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or CloudCode
• Proficient in writing clean, scalable, well-tested code
• Fluent English communication skills; able to work autonomously and asynchronously

Nice to Have

• Experience with real-time collaboration tools or chat systems
• Familiarity with Stripe integrations or similar payment systems
• Prior work in early-stage startups or small engineering teams
• Contributions to open-source or an impressive GitHub portfolio
