Role Overview

Join STARCOACH, an innovative AI-enabled math teacher assistant platform, as a mid-level Back-End Developer. You will play a pivotal role in bridging our U.S. and China engineering teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and contributing to the development of scalable backend systems. This role is crucial for our upcoming major initiative launching soon.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services utilizing JavaScript.
• Apply strong fundamentals in data structures, logic, and architecture to create robust solutions.
• Collaborate effectively with engineering teams across the U.S. and China, acting as a communication bridge.
• Participate in design discussions, contributing to the creation of scalable backend solutions.
• Adapt to STARCOACH’s internal frameworks and undergo training as needed (prior framework expertise not required).

Required Skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript for backend development.
• Solid understanding of data structures, logic, and system architecture.
• High-level proficiency in English for technical and business discussions.
• Strong proficiency in Mandarin for effective collaboration with China-based engineers.
