Role Overview

Join our team as a Full-Stack Developer to lead the development and maintenance of BookMobly's core web platform and backend APIs. You will be instrumental in crafting an intuitive web experience for our customers and providers while designing robust and scalable backend services.

Responsibilities

• Utilize cloud services, such as AWS, to develop scalable and efficient solutions.
• Build and maintain customer and provider portals using frameworks like React or Next.js.
• Develop backend services with Node.js and NestJS, and implement REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Design and integrate SQL or NoSQL database structures to support application needs.
• Integrate with third-party services, including Stripe, Paystack, and Google Maps, to enhance platform functionality.
• Collaborate closely with mobile and DevOps engineers to ensure unified cross-platform behavior and functionality.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of experience in full-stack development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js (or Django).
• Experience with databases such as Firebase, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of secure authentication practices, including JWT and OAuth.

Nice to Have

• Experience building applications specifically for African markets, understanding local needs and technologies.
