Full-Stack Developer for Contract Review Platform - Part-time - EMEA

Role Overview

Cobrief is building a fast, lightweight contract review platform designed for SMBs. We’ve already developed the core product, including AI-powered contract analysis and risk assessment. Now, we’re looking for a full-stack developer to push forward key features such as collaborative editing, version control, automated redlining, and e-signatures.

Responsibilities

• Expand Cobrief’s contract review platform by developing and refining features like collaborative redlining, version control, and document automation.
• Enhance user workflows, enabling seamless contract editing, commenting, and automated markup.
• Optimize platform performance to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for SMB users.
• Ship weekly, working in a fast-paced, iterative development cycle.
• Maintain and improve the existing codebase, ensuring clean, scalable, and maintainable code.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript (for front-end development).
• Solid experience with Python (for back-end API development).
• Experience building collaborative web applications (document editing, commenting, or workflow-based platforms is a plus).
• Familiarity with cloud-based deployment (experience with Cloudflare, Supabase, or similar is beneficial).
• Ability to work independently and execute quickly without unnecessary complexity.

Nice to Have

• Experience in contract management, legal tech, or document-heavy workflows.
• Familiarity with integrating e-signature and contract storage solutions.
• Located in the UK or Europe for timezone alignment, but open to alternative timezones (US).
