Role Overview

We are seeking mid to senior-level Frontend Developers with a proven track record in contributing to open source projects. This role focuses on working with open source projects to develop complex front-end scenarios that test AI capabilities.

About the Project

Scout Company is building tasks based on open source projects to help AI models improve. These tasks involve front-end related work with visual components, requiring developers who can create challenging scenarios that AI might not solve on the first attempt.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to open source front-end projects, creating challenging tasks for AI evaluation
• Work on visual and front-end related tasks across various open source repositories
• Collaborate directly with the founders on task development and implementation
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain high-quality code standards across all contributions

Required Skills

• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript expertise with proven front-end development experience
• Demonstrated track record of working with JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
• Experience with front-end related tasks and visual components
• Excellent English proficiency for clear communication
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Nice to Have

• Contributions to open source projects (highly preferred)
• Experience working with diverse open source repositories
• Familiarity with various front-end frameworks and libraries
• Understanding of AI/ML model evaluation processes
