About Equinox Global Health
Founded in May 2025, Equinox is building an AI-driven health management assistant. Our first product supports people with diabetes and is approaching MVP. About 70% of the front end is complete, and we’re preparing for beta on the path to an official launch in Q2 2026.
Stack: Ionic Framework, Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, Azure DevOps.
The Role
We’re seeking a Front-End Developer with strong UI/UX sensibilities to refine and extend our Ionic/Angular app. You’ll elevate the visual design and interaction quality, ensure consistency across screens, and help us move efficiently through MVP, beta, and launch.
Design direction: minimalistic, futuristic, appealing, fresh.
What You’ll Do
- Enhance and polish existing Ionic/Angular UI components and screens.
- Fine-tune visual design & interactions (spacing, typography, color, motion, responsiveness).
- Partner with CEO/CTO to prioritize UX improvements that unblock beta.
- Implement front-end best practices (state mgmt, performance, accessibility).
- Collaborate via Azure DevOps (boards, PRs, CI/CD) with clean, reviewed code.
- Support beta testing: address UI bugs, refine flows, and prepare for Q2 2026 launch.
- Initial tasking includes a short design pass (“a couple hours”) to validate fit, followed by ongoing work through beta and launch.
Requirements
- 2–3 years front-end experience with Ionic and Angular (TypeScript/JS).
- Strong UI/UX instincts with a portfolio that shows tasteful, modern interfaces.
- Proficiency in component architecture, responsive design, and accessibility.
- Comfortable with Azure DevOps workflows (repos, pipelines, boards).
- Excellent communication; able to iterate quickly with stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing design systems/component libraries.
- Healthcare or data-heavy app experience.
