Front-End Developer - Part-time - APAC/EMEA

About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to join our team on a 3+ month contract to help redevelop and modernize our website. You’ll work closely with the Head of Software Development to convert Figma designs into responsive, production-quality front-end code using HTML, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert Figma design files into fully responsive HTML pages using Tailwind CSS and TypeScript.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Software Development to prioritize tasks and report progress daily.
• Maintain high attention to detail in implementation to match the design specifications.
• Optionally contribute to light back-end TypeScript work as the project evolves.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript.
• Experience translating Figma (or similar) designs into pixel-perfect web pages.
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and accessibility best practices.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to provide daily progress updates.
• Availability to overlap partially with Australian working hours (no full-time sync required).

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with front-end build tools (e.g., Vite, Webpack).
• Exposure to back-end TypeScript (Node.js) or API integration.
