Front and Back End Developer

Role Overview

Join AutoStak AI as a Front and Back End Developer to transform our vendor-contract intelligence platform from a demo into a live product. Your expertise will help car dealerships gain insights into their contracts, enabling better negotiation and cost savings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement user account systems with authentication, initially at the dealership level, with plans to support multiple users per dealership.
• Create a contract upload flow that accepts and processes PDF/DOCX vendor agreements.
• Build an extraction pipeline to parse structured data from contracts, focusing on pricing, term length, escalators, fees, cancellation terms, and data rights, utilizing AI APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic.
• Enhance the existing scoring engine using a proven weighted formula to evaluate contracts (pricing 40%, terms 30%, flexibility 30%).
• Develop a results dashboard that reflects the demo's UI, showcasing real data for Deal Scores, subscores, market comparisons, savings estimates, and negotiation opportunities.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in both front-end and back-end development, with a strong understanding of modern web application frameworks.
• Experience with React-based front-end technologies, preferably Next.js.
• Familiarity with Postgres or similar database management systems.
• Capability to integrate AI APIs for data parsing and extraction.

Nice to Have

• Experience with managed authentication and infrastructure layers to minimize DevOps needs.
• Ability to recommend and implement efficient tech stacks tailored to small teams.
