Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior AI & Automation Developer to join our team on a remote, contract basis. You will play a crucial role in advancing our internal AI infrastructure beyond basic assistant workflows. Your primary objective will be to design, build, and deploy custom, autonomous AI agents for deep research and email automation, ensuring these tools integrate seamlessly into our existing platform through robust API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and deploy complex AI agents capable of performing multi-step research and automated email workflows.
• Seamlessly integrate modern LLMs and AI services with our existing web APIs, platforms, and databases.
• Evaluate AI frameworks and models, such as Copilot, Claude, and Gemini, to recommend and implement optimal tools for specific automation tasks.
• Ensure automated agent workflows operate reliably, efficiently, and securely within enterprise ecosystems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of general software development experience with a strong coding foundation.
• Hands-on experience building autonomous AI agents and multi-step automated workflows.
• Strong background in connecting AI tools, custom web APIs, and third-party services.
• Willingness to overlap and work during U.S. Eastern or Central business hours.

Nice to Have

• Direct experience working within the Microsoft Copilot ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience using Claude or Gemini for automated workflows.
