YachtPro – iOS SwiftUI App Brief

Were creating an app that hopefully all super yachts within the industry will adopt.
The app will host inventory for all departments like interior, deck, engineering, electrical etc.

It has to be user friendly, AI driven, intuitive and an apple like model. Basically it needs to be clean and run fluidly.

I want to stand out from the competition already like IDEA Yacht or TeroMarine.
Our app will be driven by AI or Visual Intelligence. It will hold all database storage for the yacht and the way to upload photos will be seamless, better yet, if the crew use the Visual Intelligence function, this will automatically grab the image of the part or product online and fill in the description. Crew will have to input the quantities they hold onboard.

The app needs to work with yacht standard suppliers, like super yacht spares, Evolution yachts, Kingdom yacht services, and i believe they should be segregate by regions, therefore when a crew member is low on stock a notification appears on their phone but also sent to their work email address. Once a crew member would like to create a shopping list of all the items that are required, they select a number of suppliers from the speciifc region they are in. For example, being in Europe, Super yacht spares, Giraud Yacht services etc etc appears.

Once they have selected their desired suppliers for quotes, this will automatically open up their preferred email app like outlook gmail etc. Then an email will be distributed individually for these suppliers. Once the quotes are returned and the crew member chooses which one they want to proceed with, they should easily be able to upload this to the database of the app for that specific person and department, for example - Chief stewardess under the Interior department.

I would also like products to be recommended to each member that uses the app. For example if the chief stewardess has ordered napkin rings or vases, theres a section called related products for example where they can see and find different items that may be relevant to the.

Scope: SwiftUI app for super yacht procurement.

Features: AI Visual Scan (Vision),inventory/cart, destination based supplier selection (CoreLocation), RFQ generation, email hand off (Mail/Outlook), SwiftData models. Match provided Figma/AppAlchemy designs.

Must have skills:
• SwiftUI (custom components, animations).
• SwiftData / Core Data (schemas, migrations).
• VisionKit / Vision (text & barcode scanning).
• CoreLocation / MapKit (geocoding, distance filtering).
• Async/Await networking; clean modular architecture.
• TestFlight distribution & App Store provisioning.

Deliverables:
• Pixel accurate UI matching Figma/AppAlchemy.
• Smooth, bug free user flows across all screens.
• Mock API wired (easily replaceable with live backend).
• TestFlight build ready for stakeholders.
• Light unit/UI tests covering critical paths.
• Handover document: architecture, build steps, credentials.

Timeline: 3–6 weeks for MVP.
