Freelance Developer for AI Simulation Platform Infrastructure

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Freelance Developer to enhance our AI simulation platform by building a robust infrastructure layer. This role involves working with a fully functional platform built in HTML and JavaScript, integrated with the Anthropic Claude API. Your contributions will be pivotal in preparing the platform for its upcoming launch.

Responsibilities

• Establish a private GitHub repository under the client's account, ensuring a secure connection to Vercel. The client will be the Owner, with the developer as a Collaborator.
• Design and implement a Supabase PostgreSQL database with an 8-table schema, incorporating Row Level Security and migrating existing localStorage data to a persistent database.
• Set up Clerk authentication to manage learner and trainer roles, and develop server-side proxy routes in Next.js to secure the Anthropic API key, implement rate limiting, and ensure a smooth production deployment.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Next.js for building scalable and efficient web applications.
• Experience with Supabase for database management and integration.
• Familiarity with Clerk for authentication processes.
• Competence in using Vercel for seamless deployment and hosting.
• Understanding of API integration, specifically with the Anthropic API.

• Experience working with detailed written scope documents.
• Familiarity with milestone-based payment structures.
• Comfort working within US, LATAM, or EST timezones.
