Freelance Brand & Product Designer

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Freelance Brand & Product Designer based in the Netherlands or Belgium to provide long-term, recurring support for us, a branding studio, as well as contribute to an ongoing digital platform project. This role requires someone who can work independently while maintaining strong communication in both Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal team to extend existing visual directions and ensure design consistency across projects.
• Refine and enhance brand assets, ensuring they align with current visual guidelines.
• Develop templates and presentations using Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
• Structure and organize Figma files over time to support product/UI work.
• Support both brand design and Figma-based product/UI tasks, focusing on design systems, UI states, and visual design.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Figma for product/UI design and file organization.
• Strong understanding of design systems, UI states, and visual design principles.
• Experience with brand identity development and extension.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud for creating templates and presentations.
• Ability to design for web/platforms with a focus on consistency and visual appeal.

Nice to Have

• Bilingual proficiency in Dutch and English for effective communication.
• Enjoyment in working as a "lone wolf" design partner, independently managing projects while collaborating with the team when necessary.
