Freelance Backend Developer

Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Freelance Senior Backend Developer to enhance the security and functionality of a live PropTech SaaS application (Supabase/PostgreSQL backend, React frontend, currently built via Lovable AI-assisted development). This role involves conducting a security audit and refining the multi-tenant role architecture, then taking over ongoing feature development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a thorough security audit of Row Level Security policies to ensure robust data protection.
• Refine and optimize the multi-tenant role architecture, covering resident, pro (contractor/insurer/emergency/municipality), and building-manager (Vaad) roles.
• Review and harden payment commission logic within the existing architecture.
• Take ownership of the codebase going forward (currently AI-generated via Lovable) — comfortable reading, auditing, and extending existing code rather than writing everything from scratch.

Required Skills

• Proven experience with Supabase and PostgreSQL, especially Row Level Security in production.
• Strong understanding of multi-tenant architecture and role-based access control.
• Comfortable auditing and extending an existing codebase (including AI-generated code) rather than greenfield-only work.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with React.
• Experience in PropTech, real estate, or marketplace/SaaS commission models.
