Experienced Freshservice–Jira Integration Contractor

Role Overview

We are in search of a highly experienced contractor to enhance our ITSM environment by optimizing the Freshservice–Jira connector. The primary objective is to ensure seamless integration and data synchronization between these platforms to streamline our change, incident, and problem management workflows.

Responsibilities

• Configure and refine bidirectional recipes using the Jira Connector app in Freshservice.
• Clean up existing integration settings to eliminate redundancy and sync issues.
• Create customized dependency graphs and dashboards to enhance cross-platform visibility.
• Ensure seamless data synchronization, covering incidents, changes, comments, statuses, and attachments.
• Align integration logic with ITIL best practices and internal workflow dependencies.

Required Skills

• Proven experience with Freshservice–Jira integrations, especially using the connector app and webhooks/API.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing recipes and logic-based automation in Freshservice.
• Strong understanding of Jira project configuration, issue types, custom fields, and workflow transitions.
• Ability to troubleshoot sync failures, field mismatches, and automation conflicts.
• Experience in building custom dashboards, reports, and visual dependency graphs.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with ITSM frameworks, such as ITIL, is a strong plus.
