Experienced Freelancer for API Data Extraction

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Freelancer to assist with downloading items listed on top e-commerce platforms. This role requires expertise in understanding APIs, API penetration testing, and data extraction through APIs to ensure efficient and secure data retrieval.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reserach of APIs to understand their structure and data flow.
• Develop an efficient and effective API-based data extraction solution
• Extract and download data efficiently from indicated e-commerce platform, including descriptions, prices, images, and other relevant details.
• Share documentation of the approach and the technology for future automated downloads
• Collaborate with team members to refine data extraction techniques and improve data retrieval processes.

Required Skills

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/Node.js.
• API Knowledge: familiarity with REST APIs., experience with API development, API testing, API security or penetration testing, Experience with tools like Octoparse, Parsehub, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Proficiency in Mobile App Reverse Engineering, Bot Detection Techniques, Network Traffic Analysis, Session & Cookie Management
