Engineering Project Manager - Perm - EMEA/APAC

Role Overview

We are seeking two Engineering Project Managers to lead cross-functional development teams across our product lines. This role is a hybrid of Project Manager and Product Owner, requiring both technical acumen and strong communication skills.

You will be responsible for managing 1–2 projects simultaneously, including flagship products and exploratory tools. You’ll serve as the bridge between engineering, design, sales, and marketing, ensuring smooth execution, alignment with product goals, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate product and design requirements into clear, actionable development plans
• Manage engineering timelines, resourcing, and communication across frontend, backend, and web teams; discuss with the team and decide on the implementation strategy and software architecture.
• Serve as the liaison between engineering and other functions (product, design, sales, marketing)
• Lead sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Identify and mitigate technical and organizational risks early
• Contribute to technical execution where appropriate (bonus if you can assist with development)

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience in engineering project management or product ownership
• Strong understanding of software development processes (Agile, Scrum, etc.)
• Technical background with programming experience in C++
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills
• Comfortable working across time zones and cultures
• Experience managing projects with complex design and user requirements
• Fluent English communication (verbal and written)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the JUCE framework or audio software development
• Background in music production or musical instruments
• Prior experience at startups or audio-tech companies
