Email synchronization developer

Role Overview

We are seeking an expert Email Sync Specialist to address a critical production issue in our email synchronization pipeline. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience in designing and managing high-performance email sync systems, with a strong understanding of both the Gmail API and Microsoft Graph.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve a P0 production issue related to email synchronization.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of email sync pipelines to identify and fix problems.
• Work with Gmail API and Microsoft Graph to manage deltas, webhooks, and edge cases effectively.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless integration and performance of the email sync system.

Required Skills

• Proficient with Python and PostgresSQL
• Extensive experience in building and maintaining high-performance email synchronization systems.
• Proficiency with Gmail API and Microsoft Graph.
• Ability to effectively reason about deltas, webhooks, and edge cases in email systems.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with CRM applications and their integration with email sync systems.
• Prior experience with GCP
• Prior experience with queue-based email architectures
