DevOps Engineer - PT - LATAM, Europe, EMEA

Role Overview

PepTalk is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our remote team. As a key player in optimizing our AWS infrastructure, you will ensure seamless operations and facilitate smooth enterprise connections with expert talent through our speaker marketplace platform.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of accountability for all DevOps infrastructure.
• Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing AWS resources to identify areas for optimization.
• Act as the main contact for new implementations and address emergency requests efficiently.
• Collaborate with teams to enhance the scalability and reliability of the platform.

Required Skills

• Proven expertise in AWS infrastructure management and optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on DevOps best practices.
• Ability to work independently as a trusted professional in a remote setting.
• Excellent communication skills to serve as the main point of contact for DevOps-related tasks.
• Deep experience with AWS RDS optimization, ECS/ECR container orchestration, and EC2/ELB configuration.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation for managing AWS resources.
• Hands-on experience with AWS security services including WAF, KMS, Secrets Manager, and Config for compliance.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipeline implementation and monitoring tools (CloudWatch, DataDog or similar).
• Experience with cost optimization strategies for AWS services, particularly database and container workloads.
• Familiarity with both serverless (Lambda, API Gateway) and traditional infrastructure patterns.
• Proven track record establishing development, staging, and production environments with proper separation.
• Experience working with distributed teams and bridging technical gaps across varying skill levels.

Nice to Have

• Security and compliance experience (especially SOC2 readiness)
• Experience with Monitoring and alerting tools (CloudWatch, DataDog, or equivalent)
