DevOps Engineer (Docker/Virtualization) - FT Freelance - Americas

Role Overview

We are seeking skilled Engineers with experience in building and managing Docker containers and virtual machines. You will be instrumental in developing training environments for AI applications. Each Docker container you create will serve as a distinct training environment, crucial for advancing our AI training capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Docker to build and configure training environments based on provided specifications.
• Develop and manage virtual machines as starting templates for Docker environments.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless integration of AI training environments.
• Troubleshoot and optimize Docker containers and virtual machines for performance and efficiency.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in building and managing virtual desktops in Docker containers.
• Strong understanding of virtual machines and their configuration.
• Ability to follow detailed specifications to create training environments.
• Native users of AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.)

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI or machine learning projects.
• Familiarity with cloud-based deployment of Docker containers and virtual machines.
