About the Role

We’re hiring a Development Project Manager to lead the execution of our tech development roadmap across both external agencies and internal dev teams.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives as a bridge between tech and strategy - translating complex development language into clear business updates for non-technical leadership.

You’ll report directly to our Chief Experience Officer (CXO), Fraser - a co-founder who leads high-level development strategy but doesn’t speak “code.” You’ll act as Fraser’s technical right-hand, ensuring that every update, feature, and sprint is understood, prioritized, and aligned with our product vision.

What You'll Do

Phase 1: External Agency Oversight

• Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for our development agency building:
  Our core web app
  Internal CRM
  Proprietary photo editor
• Manage sprint timelines, QA processes, dependencies, and milestone delivery
• Translate technical updates from developers into clear summaries for non-technical leadership
• Flag delays, manage risks, and ensure on-time delivery

Phase 2: Dual-Lane Dev Management

• Continue overseeing the external agency on:
  Platform feature upgrades (v2, v3)
  iOS app development
  Complex frontend/backend feature work
• Simultaneously manage internal dev resources across:
  Minor web app tweaks
  UX optimizations and QA fixes
  System maintenance and infrastructure health

Communication & Strategic Bridging

• Act as the translator between engineers and Fraser (CXO):
  Understand APIs, infrastructure, and frontend/backend terminology
  Convert updates into non-technical impact summaries
  Align tech work with product, customer, and experience goals
• Lead standups, sprint planning, and roadmap syncs between stakeholders

• Have 3+ years in technical or product-focused project management
• Can read and interpret code-level updates, even if you don’t code daily
• Have managed both external agencies and internal dev teams

Bonus Points

• Experience with mobile app development (iOS/Android)
