Design Engineer for early stage SaaS design software - Full Time - Overlap with EST

Job Summary
We are seeking am either talented and innovative Product Designer or Design Focused Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality products that meet customer needs and align with our company’s vision. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and strong problem-solving skills. The Frontend Engineer/Product Designer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and manufacturable.

Duties

• Design and develop product concepts from initial ideation through to final production.
• Utilize software tools such as Revit and C++ for creating detailed design specifications.
• Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot design issues and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate firmware and debugging processes into product designs.
• Schedule and manage project timelines to ensure timely delivery of design milestones.
• Implement vision inspection systems to enhance product quality assurance processes.
• Develop scripts for automating design tasks and improving workflow efficiency.
• Participate in soldering tasks as needed for prototype development.

Experience

• Proven experience in product design or a related field, showcasing a strong portfolio of previous work.
• Proficiency in project scheduling techniques to manage multiple design projects effectively.
• Familiarity with FPGA technology is a plus.
• Strong understanding of debugging processes and firmware integration in product development.
• Experience with vision inspection systems is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
