Data Transformation Subject Matter Expert

Role Overview

We are seeking knowledgeable Subject Matter Experts to provide advisory support in data transformation projects. Your expertise will guide us in navigating complex data domain challenges, focusing on Cloudera to Bigquery and SQL Server to Postgres transitions.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on data transformation processes, particularly in transitioning from Cloudera to Bigquery and SQL Server to Postgres.
• Support the translation of Oozie batch jobs, Impala scripts, and complex stored procedures.
• Guide the team through edge cases where AI solutions may falter.
• Assist in handling dialect-specific conversion issues.

Required Skills

• Extensive hands-on experience with large-scale data transformations within enterprise environments.
• Deep subject matter expertise in the specified data domains.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the data field.
• Comprehensive experience in risk assessment, planning, and execution of data transformation projects.

Nice to Have

• Experience in advising on data transformation strategies and best practices.
