Data Migration Lead (SAP S4HANA/ETL/CPG) - FT Freelance - Americas

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Migration Lead to spearhead our client's digital transformation project centered around SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of SAP's Data Model and will be pivotal in ensuring a seamless migration of data across systems. This role demands expertise in data architecture, migration strategies, and data governance to facilitate an effective transition.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive data migration strategies in alignment with SAP S/4HANA best practices.
• Lead data cleansing initiatives to ensure data quality and integrity throughout the migration process.
• Formulate risk mitigation strategies to address potential challenges during data migration.
• Design and implement an integration roadmap that aligns with existing systems and third-party applications.
• Drive data validation activities and organize testing of ETL scripts to ensure successful data transfer.
• Prepare and conduct workshops to facilitate client alignment and provide strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain adherence to data governance and master data management protocols.

Required Skills

• In-depth knowledge of SAP Data Model and data architecture principles.
• Experience in writing and testing ETL scripts for data migration.
• Strong understanding of data governance and master data management.
• Ability to develop data cleansing and risk mitigation strategies.
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with consulting methodologies and workshop facilitation.

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in Spanish.
• Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
• Ability to work within U.S. time zones and potential travel to Mexico for workshops.
