Data Extraction Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Extraction Specialist to develop a robust, reliable solution that improves upon our current Procore Extracts system. The goal is to create a high-performance data extraction process capable of handling a full data extraction across approximately 1,507 projects, each with relatively light data loads, and to establish scheduled incremental backups on a quarterly basis.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a reliable data extraction script to fully extract and index data from 25 Procore modules across all projects.
• Ensure the solution is efficient and minimizes errors compared to existing processes.
• Develop a system for scheduled incremental backups to maintain up-to-date data integrity on a quarterly basis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and address any data extraction challenges.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in data extraction and indexing from multiple modules or platforms.
• Strong proficiency in scripting and automation tools.
• Familiarity with database management and data backup strategies.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, error-free solutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Procore or similar project management software.
• Knowledge of advanced data handling techniques and optimization strategies.
