Contract Browser Automation / Web Data Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Browser Automation / Web Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Playwright and Python to build and maintain robust browser connectors. Your work will focus on accessing retail and CPG portals that are protected by advanced anti-bot systems, ensuring reliable data extraction at scale.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain browser automation scripts using Playwright and Python.
• Build browser connectors capable of logging into retail/CPG portals with anti-bot protections.
• Implement solutions to bypass security measures such as Akamai, Cloudflare, PerimeterX, and DataDome.
• Ensure the reliability and scalability of data extraction processes.
• Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data collection.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Playwright and Python for browser automation.
• Proven ability to defeat anti-bot systems like Akamai, Cloudflare, PerimeterX, and DataDome.
• Experience in developing and maintaining scalable data extraction solutions.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in the retail or CPG sectors.
• Familiarity with additional web scraping and automation tools.
