Why Offsite?
While there are many benefits for employers and employees alike in working remotely, running any company is challenging enough, let alone a remote-first organization.
Offsite (offsite.com) is helping create more engaged, connected, and empathetic workplaces of the future by allowing People Leaders at high-growth tech companies to easily plan, manage, and follow-up after team retreats and other types of Offsites.
We offer end-to-end offsite planning services for hundreds of companies like Remote, Buffer, Reforge, UiPath, and 15Five….as well as an Airbnb-style marketplace for saving up to 40% on offsite vendors including hotels, meeting space providers, travel providers, swag, etc.
Offsite is looking for someone to “own” content marketing, who has a vast understanding of SEO, who will take our content marketing efforts to the next level.
In this role, you will:
- develop and execute a content plan whereby you will personally be writing and working as an individual contributor, including…
- writing high quality content that positions Offsite as a thought leader and category-defining company, as well as ranks in the top 3-5 results for target keywords
- be responsible for posts across our blog, email newsletter(s) and guest blog posts
- develop landing page structures for programmatic SEO and to better format our marketing website
- assist with marketing campaigns for other teams, like our sales and marketplace development teams
- develop, execute, and optimize SEO strategies to drive organic growth, including…
- keyword research
- improving our keyword rankings across the board
- running campaigns to acquire high-quality and relevant backlinks
- converting visitors into leads with conversion rate optimization (CRO)
We’re a VC-backed startup approaching profitability with a lean-and-mean team (but actually, everyone is really nice!).
We expect you to be an individual contributor for the first 3-6 months, and only after showcasing your strategy is working will we start hiring VAs and support staff under you in order to scale the amount of content you’re able to generate.
This is a unique opportunity to:
👉 join a VC-backed startup as an early employee before our Series A...
👉 work wherever you want, however you want (so long as you have exceptional WiFi connection), with invitation to 2x/year All-Hands offsites
👉 build a network of CEOs, Chiefs of Staffs, EAs, and People Leaders from the world's fastest-growing and most inspiring companies...
👉 have day-to-day impact on the direction of our company through helping us hit aggressive growth goals that will boost our ability to raise future rounds of funding...
👉 and so much more!
