Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. The role involves managing multiple ClickHouse instances for database storage, as well as optimizing infrastructure to ensure efficient and scalable operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure with a focus on database storage using ClickHouse instances.
• Implement and manage ingestion engines to facilitate seamless data flow and storage.
• Optimize infrastructure by effectively combining permanent EC2 instances with on-demand spot instance scaling to enhance performance and cost efficiency.
• Monitor deployments to ensure the stability and reliability of production systems and databases.
• Continuously optimize the performance of production systems, addressing any issues that arise promptly.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in managing cloud infrastructure, particularly with AWS EC2 instances.
• Strong knowledge of database management, specifically with ClickHouse.
• Expertise in optimizing infrastructure for performance and scalability.
• Experience in monitoring and maintaining production systems to ensure optimal performance.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with additional cloud services and tools that can enhance infrastructure management.
• Experience in automated deployment and CI/CD processes.
